Dr. Natalie Scheeler, ND

About Dr. Natalie Scheeler

I knew I wanted to have a career in medicine at a very early age. Following that path, I held various positions in the medical field before applying to medical school, including working as a medical assistant at a busy metropolitan primary and urgent care clinic. Through this experience, I quickly realized the limitations of the conventional medical system, with short visits, limited treatment options beyond pharmaceuticals, and a lack of focus on the root cause of illness, leaving both patients and practitioners frustrated.

Driven by the desire for more comprehensive care, I embarked on a journey that led me to work at an integrative health center alongside a naturopathic doctor. Witnessing the principles of naturopathic medicine in action inspired me to pursue this path.

Now, as a naturopathic doctor, I am dedicated to treating the whole person, considering physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, and social factors that contribute to your health. By focusing on finding and addressing the root cause of illness, I aim to provide personalized care that truly addresses your concerns.

My approach incorporates education, empowerment, holistic nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, mind-body techniques, and medication when necessary.

In addition, during my residency, I completed specialized training in treating inflammatory bowel disease, including integrative treatment options such as fecal microbiota transplantation and helminth therapy. This additional expertise allows me to offer comprehensive and innovative approaches to managing complex gastrointestinal conditions.

Together, we will work towards achieving your health goals. I am thrilled to be part of your health and wellness journey.

“Dr. Scheeler is kind, caring, super smart, and knowledgeable, and she made me feel seen and heard, 5/5 recommend.”
